Become a "Team of CHOICE"

Reduce turnover, build teamwork, and increase customer loyalty.

CHECK- conduct a team survey to get anonymous feedback from everyone on team behaviors critical to your organization’s success.

Our Team Check Up allows teams to self-assess and gain insight into how members of the team see the teams performance, health and culture. It gives the team a voice to place needed discussion items on the table. The finished report is processed over a number of town meetings in which the team analyzes the findings, decides what it all means, and what action it will take to improve it self or capitalize on its strengths.

HEAR - hold a town meeting with employees or employee representatives  to process the feedback and formulate an action plan

Should a team have any problems lurking in its corners, its members will need to feel heard before they are ready to move forward. The town meetings offer a safe place for questions, clarifications, and the sharing of perceptions. As the team gains clarity around the issues and is better able to understand all points of view its commitment soars. Creativity and innovation are sparked in this process of team renewal while the team makes plans to create a preferred future.

OPEN- communication in your organization is a key ingredient to creating an engaged workforce that achieves and exceeds key results. Good communication occurs when trust is high and people understand and respect each other.

Trust is created as honest feedback is provided by the members of the team.  As members understand how their behavior impacts the whole, commitment to personal improvement is ignited.

INVOLVE – tap into the talent in your organization and create  relay teams that can solve problems and create new opportunities for you and your customers.

Understanding team talents is a key to involving everyone and having access to the right talent just as it is needed on the team. Tapping into the unique talents can make the difference between great idea and being first to the market place with a well thought out innovative solution that has market demand.

CHECK- repeat the team survey to see where progress has been made and where work still needs to be done. Provide feedback to team members on their performance.

The mark of a professional is the ability to know themselves. This is true of great teams too. At regular intervals the team should pause to look again at its inner workings and see how it can capitalize on these findings.

ENRICH – Continuous learning creates high levels of self esteem, a greater skill pull for the organization and increased loyalty to an organization that commits itself to helping its’ members grow.

On a team the sum is usually greater than its parts… keep this synergy growing on your  team. Remember, the developmental needs of the individual members are as important as the needs of the team as a total unit.
