Relationship Tip #3:
Communication errors are costly. In important conversations, where details are being covered, you can be the one to take responsibility for the quality of the communication whether you are the sender or the receiver. If you are providing details you can say, " I want to be sure I did not miss anything, could you summarize what I've covered so far?" If you are the receiver of the information, you could say " Here is what I think you are suggesting, can you tell me if I got that right?" In either case, you can be the person to prevent a "communication miss," and in doing so you can model good communication techniques for others on your team.

Serving Teams & Team Leaders since 1986!
|
For over 25 years we have been supporting teams, team leaders, and team facilitators with products and services designed to enhance relationships. Some choose to call the competencies we develop "soft skills". We know from years of personal experience that these "soft skills" are some of the hardest to learn and effectively use in our day-to-day interactions. Be it supervision, management, sales, customer service or just plain teamwork, relationships have been, and always will be, the key to success. Our name and our tag line says it all: The TEAM Approach - Connect & Succeed!
This web site is rich with resources as well as descriptions of our products and services. Take some time to browse. Sign up for a newslist or join us for a classroom or virtual event. Teaching training professionals how to use the excellent products we represent has become one of our core competencies. Give us a try!
